Introduction

The Gan Shi Xing Jing (Gan Shi Xing Jing) is an astronomical monograph, Gan Jing and Shi Jing in eight volumes each, a total of sixteen volumes, written roughly in the Warring States period. The book was written in the Warring States period, and the authors were Gan De and Shi Shen from the State of Qi and Wei. Gan De wrote eight volumes of Astronomy and Astrology, and Shi Shen wrote eight volumes of Astronomy, and the two books were collectively called Gan Shi Xing Jing. The book is the largest of the astronomical achievements of the Spring and Autumn and Warring States period, and it is the earliest astronomical work in China and in the world.
