Introduction

The Book of Reading Minqiu Ji, by Qian Zeng, a famous Qing dynasty bibliophile and edition cataloguer, is one of the earliest bibliographic and edition monographs in China, inheriting the bibliographic tradition of his predecessors, especially the Song people, and the interpretation of the title. The content focuses on edition identification. It contains 634 kinds of fine books in its collection, specializing in Song and Yuan fine engraving, which provides important reference materials for future generations to study the editions of ancient books.
